Your Mind Is Our Target

Strategies

Awaken people's curiosity. It is enough to open minds, do not overload them. Put there just a spark. If there is some good flammable stuff, it will catch fire. - Anatole France

We plan the following strategic steps for implementing our program:

  1. Implement existing graphic identity program of printed material i.e., stationery, press kits, postcard, fliers, posters, brochures, multimedia, film, video, etc.

  2. Documentation of progress including text, photographs, video, audio recordings, creation of data base of allies.

  3. ABC's: Create an Advocacy Based Curriculum to share with other educational institutions and community organizations. Through the curriculum we use in the classroom and share with our colleagues, we are teaching students that they can make a positive difference in the world, and that basic organizational and communication skills are relevant to their personal and professional development.

  4. Target Issues. Identify issues that need a voice.

  5. Establish an ongoing local and global outreach program, including personal and public involvement, utilizing public events, activities, visual arts, performing arts, press releases, editorial and commercial advertising, public service announcements, educational curriculum packets, etc., in an effort to raise awareness and to assist others in choosing to make a positive change.

  6. Commendations: Recognize those who use their time and talents to speak to social issues.

  7. Update the Digilantes web site, http://www.digilantes.com. Through technology, we can reach a world wide audience. The internet offers a fantastic and cost effective opportunity to acquire data and to share our ideas with others.

  8. Call to Arms: Identify a volunteer base, including individuals and organizations that share our vision. Enlist volunteers from members of the local and global community.

  9. Allies: Identify sources for future funding and contributions.
